PE-224
Enhancement- Enhancements of Crew Time Sheet Functionality
- Two fields are created on “Human Resource Setup” for making the Crew Time Sheet Calendar.
- Based on that setup Crew Time Sheet header can be updated with the “Week Code” and “Work Period Start Date” and “Work Period End Date”.
- Users can create the Crew Time lines only for the selected range.
- Two fields are created on Crew Time Sheet Header:
- On the Job/Project Journal, “Document No.” field will be non-editable if no. series with value is assigned to the selected job/project journal batch.





Crew Lead - This field is updated based on the selected “Crew No.”
Time Sheet Approver ID - This field is updated based on the selected “Crew No.” and the user can update this field manually for open lines

Enhancement- Introduce Crew Time Sheet Email Notifications on Submission to Approvers
A new Boolean has been added to the “Human Resource Setup” page as “Email Notification”. To use this feature, you need to enable Boolean and set up email. The system considers the email id set as default as the sender's email address.

Hence, any calculations related to POC% should be calculated with 100% even if the actual calculation is more than 100%. For example: Gross Revenue = POC% * Contract Value

Enhancement- Retention entries pull via “Create Payment” batch on the Vendor Ledger Entries.
When generating the “Payment Journal” using the "Create Payment" batch on the vendor ledger entries, the same "Retention Ledger Code” on the VLE will get applied to the “Payment Journal.”

New Feature- Progress Billing Report for Option 2 of A/R Retention Calculation Method.
A new feature has been implemented to include sales tax in Progress Billing and the AIA report in the case of Option 2 A/R Retention Calculation Method.

Enhancement- Crew Timesheet related to Batch.
- After posting the lines for a single date with different “Work Type Code”, the “Status” is now updated as Posted instead of remaining it to be Approved.
- The “Select” field is now set to Obsolete and the standard selection of lines works instead.
- If Resource and Job/Project Ledger Entries are created for same Document No., then we cannot create the lines on Project Journal for that same Document No.

New Feature - Progress Payment to include different Payment Methods other than %.
Progress Payment will now have all the Payment Methods (%, Unit, L/S) to calculate the Payables. A new field has been introduced in Project Planning Lines, and Subcontract Lines to achieve the same.

New Feature- Linked Resource - Option to Explode on Project Planning Lines
A new Projects Setup has been created as “Auto Explode Linked Resources”. This will allow to auto-explode the Linked Resources for an item selected on the Project Planning Lines and will also auto-enable the Boolean “Get Linked Resources” to follow the “Explode All Linked Resource” rules.
- If for any reason, you don’t want to expand the linked resources, then disable the “Get Linked Resources” before entering the quantity for an item.
- If you want to use the “Get Linked Resources” manually on Project Planning Lines, then keep this setup off.

New Feature- Project Contacts - Extend "Type" field with additional options and link to their Primary Customer/Vendor Contacts
- A new Number Series has been introduced for the Project Contacts, as below.
- This no. series is now mandatory for the project contacts to be created and based on this the “Code” field will get auto updated with the successive no. series.
- The “Type” field has been extended with some new options such as: Subcontractor, Property Manager, Consultant, and Supplier
- The Project Contacts are now linked to the BC standard contacts along with their Source details, i.e., the source details will show the associated primary and general Customer/Vendor details, see below.

New Feature - Labor to G/L Process - Introduce G/L Posting via Project Posting Group
A new Projects Setup has been introduced as “Project Posting Group for Labor G/L Accounts”.

The Debit and Offset accounts for the Labor to G/L process will be taken based on this setup.
- If the setup is disabled (default setting), the accounts will be taken from the Projects Setup itself.
- If the setup is enabled, the accounts will be taken from the Project Posting Groups. The posting group selected on the Project Task Lines will take the priority than the one on the Project card.

Enhancement - Enhance Crew Time Sheet Process for Multiple Jobs and Crews along with Manual Time Sheets.
- The Generate Time Entries batch will now give an error, if the “Job/Project Task No.” or “Crew No.” is changed to something which is not linked with selected “Job/Project No.” or “Job Crews” respectively.
- A pop-up has been added on Submitting the crew time sheet same as the one on the Manager Time Sheet”.

(a) If “Enable to Flow Dimension from Project Card” is enabled on General fast tab of Projects Setup, then below priority will follow for dimension flow on the project journal:
- 1st priority is given to the Job/Project Tasks.
- 2nd priority is given to Job/Project Card.
- 3rd priority is given to the Master (Item, Resource, G/L).
- 4th priority is given to the Location.
(b) If “Enable to Flow Dimension from Project Card” is disabled, then Business Central Standard process is followed for dimension flow on the project journals.

In cases where no Usage has been posted against a Project as well as no Invoicing has been done, you can still modify the “Estimated Cost to Complete” field on the Project Forecast Worksheet page when the Forecast Method is set to “Project Forecast by task Total”.

After enabling the “Retention Document” Boolean on the Purchase Invoice, the system allows you to select Project No.
The “Get Retention” action button now filters out the Retention entries on the said page.
You can select any Retention code under the “Retention Payable Ledger” on the Projects Setup other than “RETENTION” but to a user-specific code, like “RET AP.”
