New Feature - New Function as "Copy Quote"

The Copy Document button is removed from the Quote page, and the “Copy Quote” action button is added under the “Task” ribbon over the Quote List page.

  • Copy From: The "Copy From" tab specifies the quote from which the user wants to copy data.

  • Copy To: The "Copy To" tab indicates the quote where the user wants to copy the data.

  • Apply: The "Apply" tab specifies whether the user wants to copy additional details, such as quantity, dimensions, and prices, from the selected quote to the new quote.

Note: -

  1. By default, both the Sell-to Customer and Bill-to Customer fields are automatically populated based on the selected Quote No. when using the Copy from the tab. However, users have the flexibility to change the Bill-to-Customer by modifying the Sell-to-Customer field.

  2. If the user is copying a quote from an Accepted Quote, they can specify whether to skip the Billing Lines (lines related to Billing Tasks, such as CONTRACT, defined in Project Setup) by enabling the “Suppress Billing Line” option in the Apply tab. If this option is disabled, the billing lines will be copied from the Accepted Quote to the new quote.

New Feature - MEM - Purchase Corrective Method to Auto-Apply PCM with related PI

“Create Corrective Credit Memo,”. This feature allows users to create a corrective credit memo that includes details for a posted purchase invoice. Once the corrective credit memo is created, the system will automatically apply both the posted invoice and the credit memo, similar to the standard functionality.

Created Below Project Pro fields, with the help of this system will automatically apply vendor ledger entries against each other i.e. Remaining Amount is zero and they are closed (Open = False).

Improvement - Revenue Recognition Report/Batch to include all the POC methods.

The Revenue Recognition Report/Batch now includes calculations based on all the POC methods. It also has an option to include or exclude sub-levels.

  • A report is generated on the “Crew Time Sheet list” called the “Crew Resource Time Sheet Report”. Release December image 06


  • The “Work Period Start Date” and “Work Period End Date” fields are mandatory on the request page of that report. Release December image 07


  • This Report will show all the Crew timesheet entries based on the selected Date range for “Regular, Over Time, and Other Hours” that are related to a particular resource. Release December image 08

A restriction has been added on the Progress billing regarding the deletion of lines with “Previous Work Amount.” The user will not be able to delete them. Also, you can recover the line that has already been deleted through the Config package. After importing it just run the batch added on the action button of the Progress Billing lines as “Update Work Previous Billing”.

The character limit of the vendor’s name has increased while generating reports with Lien functionality from the Vendor Ledger Entries.

Improvement - Crew validation on generate time entry batch.

While generating a “Crew Time Sheet” through the “Generate Time Entry” batch, if the job number is changed, the system should validate whether the crew number exists within the defined job. If the crew number does not exist, an error message should be displayed, preventing the time entry from being created.

New Feature- Posted Purchase Invoice - Create Corrective Credit Memo with Retention

A new function, titled “Create Corrective Credit Memo with Retention,” has been added under the Correct section of the Home ribbon on the Posted Purchase Invoice. This feature allows users to create a corrective credit memo that includes retention details for a posted purchase invoice. Once the corrective credit memo is created, the system will automatically apply both the posted invoice and the credit memo, similar to the standard functionality.

  • If the balance in the Customer Ledger Entries is zero and the entry type is "Invoice," the user will not be allowed to run the "Conditional Progress" lien waiver report.

In this, we have updated the filter in the Actual Hours field in the Budg.Analysis/Profits Tab. Previously in the actual hours field, there were no filters so the value of Actual hours of Budg.analysis/Profit TAB and the Actual hours field in the Project task page did not match. So now we have updated the same filters in both fields.

Users can also approve the Submitted Crew Time Sheet directly from the “Time Sheet” page. This functionality is available through a search option for “Manager Time Sheet” as all the related fields are also added on the “Time Sheet” page due to the new feature in BC version 25.
